it was good but not great

The service is too bad

We were a group of 4 adults and 1 child and were very keen to dine s as to watch the fountain show. We arrived 30 mins earlier, they refuse access to us which is very unkind as we travel from a long way for that. At least, they could have told us to wait in the lobby or just to take a drink so as to wait for our turn. very unkind and unpleasant staff! Better to go to Al-hallab in Dubai Mall, these people are more caring to client and menu is great. We were highly satisfied both by menus and attittudes,

atmosphere brilliant, view from terrace of fountains fantastic, with superb food and sevice

Best place to watch fountains spectacles!!!

the view on the terrace is great- but the restaurant does not inform anyone that there are some tables on the left side of the corner from the terrace- not facing the great view on the fountains and burj kalifa and so we were very unhappy to had that bad chance to be sitted in that corner...

Lunch was good. The view of the fountains was excellent, which is what we wanted. The business lunch is a little tricky. They only bring a regular menu. You have to know about the business lunch special, and you must specifically ask for it. It is too bad they don't bring both menus together.

they didn't find our reservation but everything was fine !

The food was not value for the money spent compared to Zheng He's neither was the service. It was only satisfactory.

Amazing selection of Thai food, great service and good value meals.

The Mango Tree, what can I say? AMAZING!!! Both the view (from the balcony), the staff (William, head waiter), and the food only compliment this lovely restaurant. Highly recommend the brunch to everyone, I am definitely heading back soon.

Very good cosmopolitan cocktail with the flavour of vodka.

Excellent food, service and stunning view

Excellent food and customer service in a great location.

Wonderful location..wonderful food and delightful staff. Highly recommend it.

perfect view of Dubai fountain

I'll come back ;)

Chicken in massaman curry was very dry

Nice view, friendly staff and good cuisine. However, the food and especially the wine come with a hefty price tag.

Food and service was really good with a tendency to amazing if dinner is choosen on the terrace with a beautiful view on the fountains with remarkable light and sound effects. I can recommend this restaurant especially in the evening hours when seated on the terrace after sunset :-)

Everything is just right

The staff were very attentive and polite. The inside of the restaurant lacked atmosphere, you'll need to book in advance for a table outside on the terrace as it is very popular for seeing the fountain displays. Food portions are just about right, no waste and you feel satisfyingly full.

It was really nice atmosphere and the staff was very attentive! We had a great time!

We never got there! several hours after Roundmenu confirmed our reservation, Tanya from the Mango Tree sent us an email informing us that they were fully booked, leaving us no time to make another reservation.

Most amazing floor show - a little warm to sit outside, even with fans but worth it for the entertainment of music and fountains. Waiters were efficient, funny and professional and supplied ice cold face cloths! Food amazing and reasonable price all up.

The food was very good & reasonably priced. Romantic setting over looking the fountains.

They loved the place, the food is great.

it was too noisy..

Love this place... one of my favourites.

Nice fountain view

Excellent and unforgettable experience Nice staff and of course very taste food I surprised my wife on her birthday

Fab food and service .....great discount thanks to Roundmenu

excellent food with very good service. must go again and again.

I have some friends from out of town and so decided to take them to Mango Tree. They fell in love with the view of the dancing fountain and equally, the food. The large variety of food to order from leaves you confused at first but the good food makes up for all the confusion once it gets there.

Horrible .. server was very annoyed that we had questions. ( what's your best dish ? Is this better or this ?... Etc ) .. we had the duck , but smelled rotten !!

Lovely view on fountains. Better book a table outside before going there in the evening.

Concierge invitation at Mango Tree...

One of my best Thai restaurants, I love their egg fried noodles with chicken and soy sauce, black pepper beef, and the sweet and sour chicken with cashew nuts. Their spring roll noodles are also good.

Anoudy Jun 25, 2014

Their food's extremely delicious! Try the black pepper beef, sweet&sour chicken with cashew nuts, noodle spring roles with sweet chili sauce, & egg fried noodles with chicken & soy sauce.

Food is so overrated - the stir fried morning glory is too salty, crispy soft shell crab is soggy. Mango Tree in Bangkok & Hong Kong are so much better. In Dubai, I would just stick with Smiling BKK.

Fried soft shell crab mango salad it's amazing!

Mango Tree’s new lunch menu; does it live up to its London sibling?

16 Feb 2011

Dubai; Only two more weeks until Taste of Dubai arrives, so we’re cracking on with another restaurant previewthe London-based Thai concept, Mango Tree at Souk Al Bahar I should highlight that FooDiva and a bunch of fellow foodie bloggers were invited to sample the new lunchtime menu, but note impartiality still prevails

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the hospitality industry over far too many years it’s location, location, location And Mango Tree has prime position overlooking Dubai’s dancing fountains, which by the way now perform during the day as well (for DSF I expect) Naturally it has both an indoor and outdoor seating areamind you it’s very cold and blustery these days, so FooDiva says sit inside for now

The new Head Chef, Paul Kennedy, who also oversees the Mirfif City Centre outlet, has created two three-course menus (each with eight dishes!), which diners are welcome to inter-change Here’s the one we sampled;

Starters; fresh salmon salad with lemongrass, red onion, chilli and lime dressing, deep fried crispy green papaya salad, and hot and spicy chicken soup with vegetables

A couple of Thai salads

Mains; wok-fried US rib eye beef with kale, ginger and spicy soy sauce, Tom yum steamed sea bass with spicy lime sauce and accompanied with steamed bok choy in a light soy sauce and vegetable egg fried rice

Dessert; choc
