About Einstein Kaffee - Emerald Empire Mall

The Café Einstein parent is a cafe on the street Kurfürstendamm 58 in Berlin's Tiergarten district. It was built in the years 1878-1879 by Max Karchow and Robert Guthmann for the maker Gustav Rossmann in the style of the Italian Renaissance, and increased in 1926 to plans by Lessing and Max Ernst Bremer and expanded the garden. In 1979 it was decorated in the style of Viennese coffee house culture. The building was originally the name of Villa Rossman and is now considered a Berlin meeting place for artists

Since September 2009, reminiscent of the threshold of the entrance two stumbling blocks to the former owners, the private Jewish banker Georg Blumenfeld and his wife Margaret Lucia, which were expropriated in 1939 because of the Nazi racial laws.
