A place for Tandoori food lovers with some curry & Bread
An IT guy and international cricket player passion for food led to Tandoori Junction Restaurant. After years of thinking and planning, Tandoori Junction was born.
A quest for fresh ideas and a casual visit to Index an interior design exhibition made us think hey why not students design the dining area ,as we believed that the young minds could bring the freshness that we wanted ...a meeting with the Manipal university teacher led to a competition for designing the dining area of the restaurant .... The response was overwhelming and the young students churned out some amazing designs. The best design was won by 3 girls who now call themselves "kamarcut" (Kamsin Mirchandani, Shabnam Isha and Jamila Merchant) very gifted and more importantly extremely hardworking made our dream come true...As promised, we used the winning design for the dining area. What were designs on paper few months ago is now a reality! The space utilization was brilliant, the attention to detail has been the mantra, every single thing in the restaurant has been debated upon and countless pictures exchanged over mails /what’s app, then decided and bought so it fitted perfectly in..
Tandoori Junction serves authentic North Indian cuisine, typical North Indian breakfast and Indian snacks called CHAATS. Our specialty is from the TANDOOR, A Tandoor is a cylindrical clay oven used in cooking and baking, a principle style of cooking in this restaurant. Food prepared from this style of cooking is said to be the healthiest because of the method involved.We have multiple varieties coming from the TANDOOR, starting from Breakfast with Stuffed Parathas, lunch & dinner with kababs, tandoori chicken/mutton/fish served with freshly made India bread and rolls in the evening for quick snacks.

Ciggie Apr 16, 2013This restaurant is not fantastic. Chicken was tough and chewy. Service was slow and not interested in customer satisfaction. Avoid this place.
