About Ping Pong
Steam is the key element at the very heart of Ping Pong. It’s the chief means by which dim sum is prepared, but it also represents the fluid calm that is central to everything we do. Ping Pong kept all the best bits of the ancient tradition of Chinese tea houses, like meeting to relax and share, and added mocktails to the mix. Everything on the menu is handcrafted using the freshest ingredients by our fantastically dexterous chefs.
NOW, you can purchase our yum dim sum and cook them at home...we provide you with instructions, various cooking methods and everything else we know you need for a great meal, while hanging out with friends or relaxing on the couch!

It's disappointing compared to previous visits as nowadays they make you feel as if they are doing favor on us having us dining there with comments like: Hello sir, how may assist you? Nice before knowing we have done reservation through Roundmenu. Oh, let me check as we are not accepting people through that anymore. I said, you know every time you have a new story. This is not the way you treat guests. We'r going to have dinner anyways, so kindly let me take a seat.. And I seated myself, because if it was for the waiter, he'd have us standing and do the conversation there. I showed him the message and he took my mobile without my permission.Came back later saying, yes mam but your reservation is for 10.30 &we had reached at 10.45. I replied: it's not easy to cross Dubai mall from the parking area and reach so quick, besides I tried reserving it for 10.45 but there was no option...and 11pm gets late for us. He made us feel like....& said, it's ok,will assist you this time around!!!!Reply

amazing as always... we only had 25 minutes before our movie started and we let the staff know as soon as we got there. they really rushed to get our food to us quickly without letting the quality or service level down. try the coriander and prawn dumplings... Reply -

Dubai; I first discovered Ping Pong in London a number of years ago, and no FooDiva’s not talking table tennis, but the popular chain of dim sum joints where you’d happily queue outside in an icy cold clime for a lunchtime table inside The Dubai Mall restaurant which I’ve frequented since its opening, has just introduced some new menu additions, and as FooDiva loves savouring anything new, here are my impressions
Nibbles; pickled lotus root & black sesame sees, pickled red cabbage and turnip These little delights are the Chinese equivalent of Japan’s edamame; the pickled red cabbage and turnip in particular sliced like french fries are both sweet and sour; perfect for whetting the appetite
Steamed dumplings; lobster dumpling, Har Gau, seafood wonton with spicy sauce and coriander, prawn and chicken Shu Mai dumpling Now Ping Pong prides itself on ‘little steamed parcels of deliciousness’, and this section of the menu is their speciality The lobster dumpling scores top points for presentation; don’t they look like miniature doll’s purses? Calling out to the girlie girl in me I guess The seafood wonton was the most divinely delicious number; the addition of coriander is quite unusual for dim sum, but makes for such a robust…
