Akash KothariReview on May 26, 20131I booked the Friday lunch from Round Menu and when i reached the restaurant with my family, they informed that the restaurant is not open for the lunch. I was shocked and furious on the restaurant management. Then i had to take my family to some other restaurant.Reply

"OK"Reviewed 2014-08-23 02:55:43 By adeUnitedKingdom
We went here expecting an authentic evening of good food and entertainment but were disappointed. The staff although friendly were in your face and seemed to want you in and out, the restaurant was very quite and this was a disappointment as there was no atmosphere, there was however a chap playing Sitar in the background which was nice. The food was nice but let down by the over zealous waiters. The entertainment that started later was a bit of a joke half a dozen or so girls came on and we expected some authentic entertainment, at first all they done was sit on there mobile phones, whilst the Tabla player spent 20 minutes tuning his instruments, one girl was singing whilst on her mobile it looked like she was reading the words, then each girl would dance in turn. This is by no means authentic dancing but what seemed to be a disco dancing competition with one girl trying to out do the other, the music was modern Indian disco music. The highlight of the evening was when we left and the concierge was stood in the middle of the road hailing us a cab with a very load whistle trying to grab the attention of the taxi drivers.
"A good option of Indian food"Reviewed 2014-08-15 10:16:11 By krishnanbmenon
A lot of variety as well as yummy Indian food center. Good service as well as varieties of food. Costly though slightly on an upper side, its a good choice.
"Lovely evening."Reviewed 2014-06-06 17:47:46 By Claire4896
We dined at this restaurant in our hotel as we had been out all day and didn't feel like venturing out again. We were not disappointed. It is a lovely restaurant - good atmosphere and the guitarist playing softly in the background added to this. The staff were very helpful with regard to menu choice and we thought the meal was delicious. It was my husband's birthday, and they surprised us with a small birthday cake at the end of the meal. (The guitarist also played a very Indian sounding 'Happy Birthday'.) All delightful.
"OK...not great"Reviewed 2014-05-19 05:43:04 By 201Sheila
Food is good, not great. Service was impeccable but I would recommend hotel dwellers to eat at an Indian outside the hotel. While the food is nice, it is not quite what it should be. Travellers will find better tasting Indian outside the hotel.
"Clay Baked Oven Goodness"Reviewed 2014-04-30 06:49:46 By Mathew O
Quality Indian food - much of which is produced in a clay oven. A good variety of dishes and very attentive service. Also, the restaurant hosts traditional performances from time to time.

Hidden gem in Arabian Courtyard Hotel Bur Dubai. Great food (both veg & non veg). Plus live Indian music with two (plump) dancers -- good for a night out with close friends.
