"Nice restaurant, too expensive"Reviewed 2014-08-09 08:34:47 By jamiep84
We went to Junsui during our stay at the hotel. At night, there is no view from the windows so it doesn't feel like you are anywhere special when inside. The service was excellent. The food was good, but it's very expensive for what it is. Would recommend only if you're looking for an excuse to have dinner in the Burj.
"Worth a visit, or two..."Reviewed 2014-08-08 07:28:45 By luckypete26
We decided to try a restaurant in the famous Burj al Arab before booking a suite there, maybe everything is a little bit overrated? So we went to Junsui for dinner. From the start I knew that the reputation of this place was true. The restaurant was very well decorated, nice lighting and the tables were just in the right place so that even when the restaurant is full it doesn't feel crowded. The only bad thing was that at night you don't have any view out of the windows, because you are not looking towards Dubai. The food war excellent, perfectly cooked with the best ingredients. And its not stylish and plushy like haute cuisine places, just excellent food. So you can go there with children also. The one thing I was really astounded by were the drinks. I decided to try a mocktail, and it was really one of the best things I've ever tried. The combination of tastes, fresh fruits, juices, herbs... Last but not least was the service. We got two waiters for our table who were really attentive for all of our needs. Just a perfect experience!

This was our second visit to the Burj Al Arab but first visit to the restaurant. From the minute you step out the lift and see the beautiful crystal entrance, you know you are somewhere special. The decor is modern and bright. We taken round the live cooking stations before being seated at a window above the pool area and looking towards the marina and Jumeirah beach hotel. we were there for sunset which was nice. The food is outstanding, huge variety from Chinese, asian, thai. Could have stay all night. Will definitely return again. We were able to use our half board vouchers with a supplement of 325AED per person. highly recommend. It was our anniversary and waiting on the table was single red rose, during the meal we got a lovely chocolate cake. Special time.
"Love, love, love Junsui"Reviewed 2014-07-29 06:57:59 By debmac17
If you like oriental food then Junsui is a must...and even if you don't they will find something for you. A fantastic buffet but also the opportunity to sample fresh made to order, Tempura, Teppenyaki, noodles, broths and sushi. I love Junsui, as does anyone that has every ate there with me and cannot wait to get back!
"Exceptional Service and Exceptional Food"Reviewed 2014-07-28 04:52:06 By CocoNorthernIreland
From the moment you enter the Burj Al Arab you feel exceptionally special as you are treated as if you are the most important person they are going to service that night. You really feel the seven star service and on our anniversary this was no different it was exceptional. My husband is a very plain eater and the chef came out to see him and made sure that we got exactly what we would like to eat, he was so helpful and concerned that James had got enough and this was really great as it is an expensive restaurant so you do what to make sure you get value for money and we most definitely did. You have a great wide selection of starters and soups to choose from with live cooking stations for your main course and a great selection of sweets and desserts. If you order coffee you get a beautiful selection of sweets on a lovely wooden stand. I found the décor and seating to be of great design and comfort and the food was delicious, it is a great experience and this is the third restaurant we have tried within the Burj Al Arab and when we return we will definitely be trying the rest.
