As booked through round menu for an evening dinner for 2 at 7:30 on a Thu evening, I Immediately received a call from the manager stating a table could be available at 10:30pm. Being our anniversary we wished to celebrate it at gypsy Chinese considering the wonderful promotions on radio, however as late we opted to confirm with the manager a booking for the following day (Friday) and this was confirmed for a table of 5. We invited three other friends and reached the restaurant on time the next day, however the manager simply denied of any such booking made under my husbands name. After insisting for about 10 minutes he checked the phone to see he had received a call from our number. But there was no apology what so ever and simply offered us a booking at 10:30 which was 2 hours later. Once again disappointed and ashamed as we had invited friends to celebrate the occasion. The most disappointing was the attitude of the manager who failed realize how he had affected our celebration. Reply -

Restarant wants us to come at very inconvenient time for this promotion deal.However we went without promotion deal and table was given instantly and even thereafter lots of tables were available which they had refused saying they are full and table reservation cannot be taken for that time.It seems promotion deal booking is not welcomed by them.
