Established in Naples, Italy in the year 1780, Brandi Pizzeria boasts an authenticity like no one else – as the birthplace of the famous Pizza Magherita! In the June of 1889, during a royal visit to the region by King Umberto I and Queen Margherita of Savoy, Brandi owner, Raffaele Esposito, was invited to the Royal Palace of Capodimonte to serve up some traditional Italian fare. Esposito created a special pizza for the royals using only white mozzarella, red tomatoes and green basil leaves – representing the colours of the Italian flag. The Queen enjoyed this pizza so much that in homage, Esposito named this delicacy after her!
Making its first journey across international waters, the pizzeria has now opened its doors at The Dubai Mall. Bringing centuries of culinary skills to the Middle East, expect to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine at its best! Dine off chequered table cloths as the scene is set – with the pizzeria’s delicious food and rustic décor taking you into the very heart of Italy!

Mathew NinanReview on Dec 20, 20135Probably, one of the best pizzas in town. Pastas are good too, but it'd be better to specify how you would like your pastas cooked. Try the burrata - they are special. & the tiramisu is fabulous - again one of the best in town. Hope the guys at Brandi works hard to retain the quality level and not take things for granted.Reply

NurulReview on Jul 03, 20132The experience in Brandi Pizzeria was good. The pizza are nice! We had the Margherita and Pollo. Yummy! The restaurant had a promotion running until 7th July so we had 50% taken off our total bill! which made the booking with RoundMenu ambiguous. Plus the manager had not even received our reservations through roundMenu! Waste of DHS5.Reply

"Excellent Pizza . . . . Overbearing Waitstaff"Reviewed 2014-08-15 08:04:55 By Ernbo6
I had the pleasure of dining at the Brandi Pizzeria and experiencing some wonderfully delicious food. The location of Brandi Pizzeria is next to TGI Friday and does offer one table with a view of the famous fountain, but no outdoor seating. I started off with a wonderful and delicious Bruschetta appetizer that was very tasty and not too filling. The restaurant has a very nice pizza oven and cooking is done just behind the bar and is visible adding to the ambiance of Brandi Pizzeria. A bit on the expensive side for pizza, the variety of pizzas is great and the other selections are equally able to satisfy all comers and appetites. The specialty pizza I ordered had gorgonzola cheese and when it arrived at the table, looked and smelled terrific. As I bit into the first slice of pizza, my taste buds were greeted with a flavorful and very tasty pizza. I can highly recommend and give favorable reviews on the quality of the food, both presentation, quality, and taste were among the best I have had in Dubai. The only disconcerting quality of the restaurant was the waitstaff. I do appreciate attentive waiters and waitresses but I am fully capable of refilling my own glass and I don't need my plate taken from under me as I finish the last bite of food. That disturbs me and if the waitstaff would only back off a bit, this can be a quality destination. There was also an advertisement for a special pizza-making class that the Brandi Pizzeria was putting on that looked very interesting. The style of pizza making at Brandi is old style and traditional Italian. I can say that I did not feel stuffed, but pleasantly sated after finishing the incredibly tasty pizza. The dough was great and did not mask the taste of the cheeses and other ingredients. As I write this review, my taste buds are savoring my next visit to another tasty pizza.
"Last visit of many not as good"Reviewed 2014-07-01 09:06:22 By ramo
Frequent visitor as per reviews and what I thought was the best pizza ever. Sadly last visit marred by average pizza, overlooked, lacking that Italian touch and homogenous in size and presentation. To be fair the Italians manning the pizza oven were not there as usual. A German manager in an Italian pizza joint? Why the expanded menu? Please back to basics
"The fritti are frozen...... pizza... "Reviewed 2014-04-15 12:13:51 By prestijacopo
... We have come here as it has the best reviews in town for pizza..... Unfortunately the first impressions are not great as we ordered I fritti only to receive a half defrosted food partially fried. Not impressed The pizza was good; the service Ok. Atmosphere not good.
"Best pizza outside of Italy"Reviewed 2014-02-26 00:13:54 By Eridanio
I'm italian and usually don't eat pizza or italian food outside of Italy because it's usually a very disappointing experience: turkish or chinese chefs making a terrible pasta. But Brandi is a very popular and traditional pizza restaurant in Naples and I wanted to try it. As good as in Italy. Absolutely suggested.

Very good pizza, but to much expensive!

The ambient is definitely something they should be working on in the future, but the food was great. The Spaghetti with olive oil, garlic and italian peperoncini were surprisingly delicious!

Best pizza in Dubai yet. Go simple. Get the Margherita and add pepperoni.

Dubai; No sooner have I polished off my last morsel and pressed the publish button, another new restaurant or café opens So much so, FooDiva has a trio of goodies to share with you in this post – all tried and tested of course
I’ve written before about my fascination with sourcing original Napolitan pizza in this town – well I’ve discovered another pizzeria – Brandi – in Dubai Mall The pizza arrives with a ‘cornicione’ thick crust, whilst slightly soft in the middle, which according to a comment left recently by an Italian follower is true to the traditional recipe as explained in the EU’s official journal, ‘the overall pizza must be tender, elastic and easily foldable into four’ Well that it certainly was Aside from the original Margherita named after Italy’s Queen in 1889, the Romana with anchovies is a FooDiva fave, whilst my sis aka Mrs Bubbly opted for the Don Vincenzo with capers and olives (removing the anchovies) Great to see locally produced fiordilatte mozzarella (cow’s milk not buffalo) from Italian Dairy Products as the common ingredient on all pizzas Service is a little hit and miss sadly with waiters repeating themselves Brandi Pizzeria is located on the second floor of Dubai Mall (next to TGI Friday) T; 971 4Continue On FooDiva
