Me and my partner had a lovely evening at Armani Amal, the service was magnificent and the food heavenly, we would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

  • "An Exemplary Fine Indian Dining Experience"

Armani/Amal is a restaurant where food is created rather than just being cooked. the taste of the tandoori gobi, which was our pre starter, still lingers in my senses. We went for a pre-fixe menu veg menu. And to say we ate to our hearts and stomach content will be a gross understatement. The aloo curry was made with masala which reminded me of back home how my grandma cooks and it was fried to that golden brown perfection that when taken a bite is crispy and mushy at the same time. Then came malai kofta with a gravy that was so luscious, which made me swoon to the aroma of it even from a distance. The richness of food is exemplified by Amal's staff. Its very rare to go to fine dining place, exception being Armani/Amal, where one is treated as a connoisseur of haute cusisine and as well as given portions that are exceedingly generous. By this time we had the opportunity to speak to the sous chef, Dhinakaran Arulandu, who was running the kitchen that day. Guys..!! take it from me..of all the places I have been to its hard to come across a person like Mr.Arulandu who is passionate about not only creating a great culinary experience but also ensuing it brings a taste of home, a piece of memory ie a smell from grandmom's kitchen. Mr.Arulandu made our day even more special when he figured out it was our anniversary by surprising us with a cheesecake which was to die for. And back to desserts, there were like a couple of servings of "God-I-Love-Everything-I-Ate" and to top it off there was KULFI..which made us stop talking and just talk in "ummmmm-ummm". Thank you to the entire Armani/Amal team for making our anniversary all the more special.

Fabulously located with amazing views of the fountains at night. The staff were incredibly attentive and it's great to see an open kitchen too. We had the taster menu which was great. Our only complaint is that we could barely move after the meal! A pretty good complaint!

  • "Disappointing"

We was told by a friend to go to Amal at the Armani hotel, Burj Kalifa. We have eaten at. Some of the best restaurants in Dubai and have some fantastic memories of some great dining experiences. However... This will not be one of them!! They Called me on the day to confirm booking which was at 19.45pm (earlier than we requested) and tried to talk us into arriving a bit earlier for a window table, being a Friday night I thought they must be very busy to be trying to push us to an earlier arrival but declined their request. We arrived exactly on time at 19.45pm to an empty restaurant. Only 3 tables of 2 , and was finished and in a cab back to our hotel by 21.05pm. Not exactly the night out we had expected ! Service was good, food was ok, Decor was ok, atmosphere was non existent due to lack of people, we left feeling that this restaurant was over hyped and pricey for what we got in return. There is nothing wrong with it, just for us... There was nothing great about it!!!

Talk about a splendid interior mixed with elegance and tasteful design. The ambience is cool and quite upscale for 'mall' restaurant. Sheer delight for coffee lovers like myself

The food is delicious, pick anything from the menu. But GulabJamuns are a must. Try getting a fountain-view table for a memorable experience.

About

Armani/Amal is not only unlike anything in the designer hotel, it's also unlike anything in Dubai. Diners will be asked by one of the Armani chaperones if you'd like to sit for a couple of minutes in the pre-dinner lounge and listen to some live sitar music.

It is perhaps the best presentation of live music we've ever seen in an Indian restaurant. Moving onto the food, mains like sea bass moilee is perfectly cooked and well spiced (but there was far too little of the gravy for our liking).
