"Nice food, surely value for money"Reviewed 2014-08-31 06:52:20 By Maverick_Varun
As I live close by, its my usual place to get some nice food delivered at home. Food is generally good. Me and my wife especially like their biryani and hariyali kebabs. Service is nice and staff very courteous. It surely provides good food for all season and in a reasonable price.
"The best kebabs your money can buy in Media City"Reviewed 2013-12-27 05:34:50 By Raadia
If you are a journalist like me, your visit to Dubai is incomplete without a trip to the Dubai Media City. On my recent trip, I dined at Royal Kebab and was delighted by their offering.... well, delighted enough to visit them again. The restaurant has a great location right behind the Gloria Hotel with a comfortable sit out if you were dining in the evening. The decor is simple which clearly says that the focus here is the food. No camouflage, just simple good old fashioned fare that true to its promise, was a treat for a foodie like me. Succulent kebabs that were downed with sinfully thick lassi topped with nuts, saw me cancelling my appointments for the rest of the day. The Dum Biryani was delectable and came to the table sealed in a clay pot to lock in the flavours. But if you are up to it.... go for the 'Backfire Biryani Challenge'. This super spicy Biryani is prepared with Naga chillies and despite several attempts, there have been a few who have succeeded in this feat. But I was clear... the grill platter, followed by fatoush, hummus and a garden salad was the perfect bite I was looking for. The fish tikkas were a particular favourite as they came with the perfect hint of ajwain sans the trappings of an overpowering spice blend that took away from the flavour of the fish. If you are lucky, the owner Mustafa bhai will be present, and he takes great pains in serving guests like they were dining in his own home. He served us some amazing chicken kebab kathi rolls, which we packed shamelessly as we were stuffed to the ears. I strongly recomment the grill platter and the kathi rolls. They are filling, truly delicious and for only 14 dirhams are a total value for money dining option. They also come in eight varieties. When asked how he succeeded in making such succulent kebabs, Mustafa bhai, proudly explains that a double marinade is what tenderises the meat so efficiently. I did not have any space, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, the ras malai and gajar ka halwa round up the meal brilliantly. I am sure to visit Royal Kebab again..... definitely for a sumptuous dinner and the amazing hospitality of Mustafa Bhai.
"Good food"Reviewed 2013-10-08 14:47:47 By rabia_boss
I had the chicken tikka masala, and i also ordered the butter naan, plain naan and roti. The food was really good, but the portions are quite small. Definitely worth a try.
"nice place for good food"Reviewed 2013-09-03 07:05:33 By rave24
Earlier i was a regular visitor to this place. Since i have been out of this place for long couldn't get back. I was there and find food was good. In the area it is situated i believe this is by far the best option for food. Staff is good and at peak times only service is at low else they had quick delivery.
"great service and good food"Reviewed 2013-07-15 08:28:09 By KajN23
Its Ramadan and my husband was hungry so we decided to Google what was open, this restaurant came up, they had alot of vegetarian options, we ordered paadi chaat which was lovely and full of flavor, we also ordered chilli paneer and I felt that was slightly tasteless, but was crispy how my husband asked for it. The main we ordered 2 curries and they were ok but felt they has the same flavor, and tasted slightly bland, the service was great and the food was hot, but we were the only people in the restaurant even though there take away service was very busy. also got 20% off with round menu bill was only 120 AED

A little to dimly lit inside, but great food at decent prices. I prefer it to competitors, Kebab Rolls and Gazebo.
